What is Septarian?
Septarian, also called Dragon Stone is one of the most unique crystals due to its nodules that form in unusual shapes that shimmer with crystallized minerals. An interesting fact is that Septarian crystals formed about 50-70 million years ago; around the same time as dinosaurs!
The Septarian crystal is formed by a combination of yellow calcite, brown aragonite, limestone and white and clear barite. Scientists till this day do not agree on the theory of their formation, making it a very mysterious stone.
